CARROT, PUMPKIN, KUMARA & BABY RICE
A perfect wholesome meal for babies using seasonal winter vegetables. Carrot, Pumpkin, Kumara and Baby Rice puree, which makes this recipe a winner all year round!
Suitable for babies 6mo+
YOU WILL NEED
1 small piece of pumpkin
1 pack of Only Organic Baby Rice
Peel vegetables and cut into small pieces. Sauté the vegetables in a little olive oil for a few minutes then cover with water and bring to the boil.
Simmer, until the vegetables are tender. Drain, putting the cooking water to one side.
Puree the vegetables, adding the cooking water until you have a smooth, runny puree. Stir in the Baby Rice.
